What Field are You In?

Every day I travel a road that passes by several fields. Because it’s in the middle of summer, and these fields are unwatered, the majority of the vegetation is brown and dry. There is very little anything that looks green, so imagine my surprise when one day a great many sheep were suddenly grazing in the field.

There must be close to a thousand head of sheep in that field. Once my shock wore off at seeing them there, I began to wonder why the shepherd would put them there. I thought perhaps the shepherd had been hired to take the flock to clear the field of unwanted weeds or something. The first day or two, I would drive by and delight myself in seeing all the sheep in the field. I thought they were cute. Then, day by day, I began to feel frustrated and sad for the flock because there was nothing there for them to eat. It wasn’t good grazing at all. There were no health benefits, no nutritional value from anything in that field. It was brown, dried stubble. I began to get upset with the shepherd.

It was as if God gave me a visual contrast between a good shepherd and a hireling. A hireling just does his job to collect a paycheck. He has no personal concern or commitment to the flock because his heart is not connected to them. In John 10:12, the word hireling is used to compare and contrast a worker that is just there to collect his pay vs. the shepherd who had made a personal commitment to the flock in his charge. The shepherd is the owner of the sheep, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to properly care for them, even risking his own life in order to protect the sheep from injury or death.

It is difficult for anyone to really grasp this concept, I think, unless perhaps the person comes from a sheepherding family and is familiar with the amount of work that goes into caring for a flock. It takes constant watchfulness to protect sheep from the many dangers that they can encounter. Predators are one risk, as well as the elements of weather, parasites, and even a sheep that has fallen and cannot get back up. They can die if the stomach gasses bloat them too much. A cast sheep, or a sheep that has fallen, is in grave danger if they are not quickly rescued by their shepherd.

One of the responsibilities of a shepherd is to make sure that the flock is fed well. A good shepherd will get up early and scout various pastures to find the best grass for their flock. They will take them out early while the dew is still on the grass, so that the sheep can benefit from the moisture on the vegetation. The shepherd is there among them, making sure they do not eat anything unhealthy that can make them sick, watching that they do not go over a cliff or step into holes that can break their legs. A good shepherd also takes care to put ointment over a sheep’s nose and eyes, keeping the flies and other insects from driving them mad. A crazed sheep can take off blindly just trying to escape the torment from flies or other annoyances. They aren't looking where they are going and can run themselves into danger if they aren't watched carefully by their shepherd. The shepherd checks their coat for ticks and burrs that might burrow into their coat and cause them pain, sores or infection. A good shepherd also brings his flock into the safety of the sheepfold at night and sleeps in front of the door so that predators can't get in, and sheep can't wander out. A good shepherd does all these things, and when a predator does show up, the shepherd either scares it off or fights that predator to the death, if necessary, to keep the flock safe. This is why the sheep feel safe around their shepherd. They have a sense of trust that they are well taken care of, so when a hireling or someone pretending to be a shepherd calls to them, they don’t even respond. It’s not their shepherd’s voice, and they won’t be led astray. This is the relationship we are also to have with our heavenly shepherd, Jesus.

"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. But a hireling, who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling, and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd and I know My sheep, and I am known by my own." John 10:11-14.

Let me return to the analogy of the field. I started to feel angry and upset with the shepherd that wasn’t giving his flock anything good to eat, because he continued to put the sheep in a field knowing there was nothing healthy or satisfying for them to graze on. They were out in the blazing hot sun day after day. Some of the sheep even wandered too close to the highway where they were in danger of being hit, and the police had to be called. They weren't being watched over or protected. Their needs were not being met. It wasn’t just neglect; it seemed like a stubborn refusal to care for them so that they could be healthy, and that’s just wrong. Sheep are grazers. They need to be in a place where what they are grazing on is healthy and nutritious. The thing that also seemed so upsetting is that just another mile down the road was a field that was unused, lush with rich green vegetation. The flock would have been so much happier and well fed in a new field, but the sheep didn’t even know it existed.

There are so many spiritual parallels that could be used as additional teaching material, but I won’t go into all that now. What I do hope to stir up in each of you is the alertness to discern what type of field you are currently in. Are you being fed nutritious, healthy meals from the Word of God? Is it balanced? Does it bring you to a place of conviction and change? Or, are you being fed the equivalent of junk food and cotton candy? Are you just being entertained with smooth sounding words that make you feel good about yourself, or are you feeling compelled to become more like Christ? Are you connected to the heart of your pastor, and is he connected to you? Is he committed to you? Do you have under shepherds that care for the flock with genuine concern, or are they hirelings just doing a job?

The type of environment you subject you and your family to makes all the difference in whether or not you will grow and be spiritually and emotionally healthy. If you are simply filling a seat on Sunday and there is no relational connection, please pray and ask God if that is where you are supposed to be. Ask God to direct you to the place where you genuinely feel connected, loved and cared for, or where His purpose for you can be fulfilled. The feeling should be mutual, and the people you choose to add into your life should give you a sense of love, family and a place where you can feel at home. If you don’t experience that, keep looking. Or, at the very least, keep checking out the small groups for a place to connect with others. Ask God to direct you to the shepherd of His choosing for you and your family. You will know when you discover the right place. I believe something inside of you will witness to the voice of the shepherd inside of the right leadership for your life. The witness of God's peace will be upon the right place and the right people.

The Lord is Your shepherd. His promise is that you shall not be in want.

He causes you to lie down in green pastures - a place of peace where there is good spiritual food.

He leads you beside still waters - a place of peace and refreshing.

He restores your soul - a place where you can receive healing and deliverance that will make you whole again.

He leads you in paths of righteousness for His name's sake - Where God leads you will be a place where you find righteousness and His name is glorified.

He leads you THROUGH the valleys in such as way so that you do not have to fear. His rod (the word of God through teaching) and His staff, (the authority present in His anointed) bring comfort and peace of mind.

It is a place where you encounter victory even in the midst of trials, the anointing flows both to you and through you - your cup of blessing is full.

Goodness and mercy are trademarks of your life as a result of the blessings of the Lord. These are the promises of Psalm 23.

Driving Out the Enemy - part 2

Ok, not the greatest pic is it?!? Ha ha  The content is much better than this pic! This is a new video called Driving out the Enemy. Although I posted a new note today on this subject, this has to do more with restoration on a personal level rather than praying governmental decrees to overhaul the political realm. This is from prophetic revelation the Lord showed me in a dream last night. Be blessed, you'll be encouraged!

God Will Drive the Enemy Out!

As my husband and I were praying this morning, we felt it was important to share some thoughts regarding the ongoing battle in our political realm.

It is obvious that there is a war for dominion. Good has become evil and evil has become good. There is so much insanity and confusion because moral absolutes have been cast aside.

This is not a time to pray for unity and bipartisanship, but let me explain why. Yes, we do want cooperation among government leaders. However, we are not supposed to compromise with the confusion and lawlessness of debased mindsets. We are not supposed to blend in the with the world or cater to their demands! We are not supposed to be politically correct! God's people are called to be distinctly different. We are a royal priesthood, consecrated to Him. We are to be an example to the rest of the world, to uphold righteousness. This is not meant to offend. I am sure there are good people on both sides of many of the political debates, but as Christians, we are not to embrace compromise with immorality, lawlessness, rebellion or things the Lord clearly condemns through scripture. This is not about personal opinions or our own personal beliefs but about a Holy God, Our Creator and heavenly Father has said in His word. It's time to get a backbone and stand up for the things God says are wrong. We are not to support and defend sin, confusion, or uphold the world's demands, for they are governed by the prince of the power of the air and they perpetuate immorality, injustice and evil agendas. God tells us to hate what He hates. Not people, but sin. We are called to resist evil and to declare God's word so that His ways can be established on earth as it is in heaven.

THIS is our responsibility. Therefore, here are some prayer points that I feel are important to declare, especially in regards to our political leaders.

Prayer Points:

1. Bind the spirit of fear over those in the political & governmental realm. Speak to the judges, lawmakers, senators, congressman, governors, state assemblymen and other elected officials. Declare a release of the Fear of the Lord, the Spirit of Conviction, and the Spirit of Righteousness would replace the fear of man. Declare that God has not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind according to 2 Tim. 1:7

2. Pray for those in these political positions to be filled with the Holy Spirit , and for people to come into their life to pray this for them if they are not already baptized in the Holy Spirit. Declare Eph. 5:18 over them, that they are commanded to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Declare over all those in positions of power and those coming into positions of power, that they would be men and women of good reputation (not in the eyes of man, but in the eyes of God); that they would be full of the Spirit and of wisdom, that are put in charge to fulfill the plans of God according to Acts 6:3.

Declare those who are in positions of power and authority would be filled with the Spirit of the Lord and power, and with justice and courage according to Micah 3:8.

3. Pray the Holy Spirit within our elected officials and others would rise up with the zeal of the Lord to accomplish the will of God. Declare the same zeal for righteousness that caused Jesus to drive out the money changers from the temple would drive the corruption out of government leaders and the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government according to John 2:15. "Jesus made a whip from some ropes and chased them all out of the Temple. He drove out the sheep and cattle, scattered the money changers' coins over the floor, and turned over their tables."

4. Declare the zeal of the Lord would replace the fear of man according to Matthew 10:28. "Don't be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Also declare Jer. 5:22, Psalm 119:120 and Psalm 27:1. Declare that our elected officials and those in positions of authority would fear God and trust Him to be their shield rather than being afraid of retribution from evil doers.

5. Declare Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the FBI director, and those that President Trump sets in to office would possess the zeal of the Lord like Phinehas in Numbers 25: 1-13. Declare they will throw the javelin into those causing the plague and the plague will be stopped in Jesus name. Declare the zeal of the Lord would rise up like the Spirit of Jehu in 2 Kings 10:15-28 and defeat the enemy. For it is written, "Zeal for your house has consumed me..." as in Psalm 69:7-9.

6. Declare the Lord will drive out the enemy according to Exodus 34:11; Deut. 6:19; Exodus 33:2; and Deut. 9:3-5. For it is written, ""Know therefore today that it is the LORD your God who is crossing over before you as a consuming fire He will destroy them and He will subdue them before you, so that you may drive them out and destroy them quickly, just as the LORD has spoken to you. "Do not say in your heart when the LORD your God has driven them out before you, 'Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land,' but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD is dispossessing them before you. "It is not for your righteousness or for the uprightness of your heart that you are going to possess their land, but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD your God is driving them out before you, in order to confirm the oath which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob."

It is also written in Ex. 23:28: "I will send hornets ahead of you so that they will drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites before you." And in Joshua 23:5 it is also written:

"The LORD your God, He will thrust them out from before you and drive them from before you; and you will possess their land, just as the LORD your God promised you."

Amen! Father, we agree and declare that the Spirit of the Living God is driving out the enemy from where he has been hidden. We declare the tormenting spirits, the hornets, are released to drive the enemy out of our land, out of our government, and out of our nation. We decree it to be so, and we thank You for going ahead of us to drive the enemy out so that this land can be reclaimed for the kingdom of God. In Jesus name, amen.

Kingdom Enforcers

Hi everyone,

Today a short but very important message on being a kingdom enforcer! Enjoy!

Why Can't I Get My Breakthrough?

Hi everyone,

I thought I would do something a little different today. I prepared a short video to help answer questions such as "Why can't I seem to get the victory?"Or, "I've said your prayers. Why can't I get the enemy to leave?"  I pray this video blesses you!

Esther's Decree

I have often wondered what Esther wrote in her famous Decree, so many years ago. Although the Bible does not include it, I did find a copy online, at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. You can find the link here: http://www.usccb.org/bible/esther/8

I invite you to read through the decree, as it is the basis for this particular article and the decree at the end of the page.

Due to the irrevocable nature of the laws of the Medes and Persians, a king’s decree could not simply be revoked. It was considered an unchangeable law that must be followed. There was a person in the Bible named Haman, who was King Ahasuerus’ right hand man, and a very deceitful, proud, power hungry person at that. (Read the book of Esther).

Haman conspired a plot against the King and Mordecai, who was Esther’s uncle. Mordecai found about it and foiled Haman's plot. In an attempt to rid himself of Mordecai, Haman construed another treacherous plot, but he hid his plot in deceit. He deceived the king into writing a decree that would annihilate not just Mordecai, but all the Jews. He thought that if he destroyed all the Jews, he would get rid of Mordecai as well and the king would never discover his secret plot for a takeover. What Haman did not understand at the time is that the king’s very own wife, Queen Esther, was also a Jew! Haman overplayed his hand, and in the end, Queen Esther, Mordecai and all the Jews were saved. It was a time of divine retribution as God turned the tables on the enemy and protected His people.

A Time of Divine Retribution

The enemy often overplays his hand. He gets too greedy and is never satisfied. He pushes and pushes until his treacherous plan is brought out in the open. Then there is a revolt, a cry for justice, and God raises up those who will cooperate with Him to bring Him into the situation. When God is pulled into the situation, a divine reversal must take place. There are times when situations may seem horrible, impossible or too far gone in the wrong direction for God to do anything about. Ah, but nothing is impossible with God! He is a God of justice, and His compassion for the oppressed compels Him to get involved. When people cry out to God, He is moved by faith in their belief in Him, and when God gets involved, the situation is forced to change!

God’s Call to This Generation

God is raising up Esthers: those who will use their faith and their voice to speak His will into the situations needing change, and declaring His word, which are the laws of His kingdom. God is calling for His royal scribes, His royal secretaries and writers to rise up as abolitionists in this hour. He is calling his bride to pray His heart into situations – no matter how impossible they may seem in the natural – and believe that HE IS GREATER. He is calling us to pray apostolic and prophetic prayers, demanding change to come into the earth that will overturn evil plans and bring justice to those marked for destruction.

Abolish: to do away with or put an end to; cancel, annul, overturn, prohibit, repeal, rescind, terminate, wipe out, extinguish, annihilate, to make void, finish or to supersede.

We must revoke, repeal and overturn destructive laws. We must quash apathetic mind sets. It’s time to arise and wipe out the plans of the enemy. We bind the enemy according to Mark 3:27 and then have the power to bring the house down on the enemy’s head. Binding prayer prohibits, paralyzes and voids the power of the enemy. It strips the enemy of his power and causes demonic spirits to become impotent! This is the meaning of abolish! We must stamp out fear, intimidation and every assignment of the enemy!

Every day we are bombarded with news that exposes the darkness of men’s hearts. From human trafficking and pedophiles abusing our children, to the secret plotting to microchip implants, forced vaccination laws that destroy our bodies, to death panels holding all the authority over who they choose to live or die, and the government conspiring with FEMA to deal with force and capital punishment towards those that refuse to follow the herd;  it is not difficult to understand that the enemy is giving his full attention and due diligence in conspiring a multitude of plans for the destruction of mankind. And why wouldn’t he? That’s his only job description: to kill, steal and destroy. (See John 10:10)

The only thing more powerful than the twisted plans of corrupt men is the power inherit in the word of God. It is God’s law, and His word is powerful and effective in defeating evil. His word, the Lord Jesus Christ, is one and the same.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.” (John 1:1-4)

If you read that carefully, you will see that the word “He” in verse two assigns personhood to the Word. He refers to part of the godhead: the Son. The Son (Jesus Christ) is synonymous with the Word. When we look into the scriptures, we find Jesus on every page. His creative power resides with His Holy Spirit. When we speak God’s word, we sound like God. We can create like God. We can enforce the laws of His kingdom as we utilize and declare His intent, supported by the use of His word. God’s word acts to enforce the laws of heaven upon the earthly realm. When we do, He releases angels on assignment to carry out the fulfillment of His Word. Like Jesus, God’s word has an assignment. Now, I don’t mean this with any disrespect; we don’t command the Lord – but, when we return God’s word to Him in prayer and declarations, then we are essentially launching the Son of God and the armies of heaven on their assignments. (Remember what I said earlier about the Son of God being synonymous with the Word of God). We send out the Word by declarative prayer, and Jesus commissions His angels to go enforce the laws of His kingdom. We pull heaven down every time we speak and declare what God’s word has said!

“So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which it is sent.” Isaiah 55:11

God always wants to know what we see. In the first chapter of Jeremiah, God shows Jeremiah a picture of a situation then asks him what he sees. He does a similar thing in Ezekiel 37. He showed his prophet a picture of death, where many had been slain. Then he asks Ezekiel a question to determine whether or not he was full of faith. “Can these bones live?” In other words, “Can I do the impossible, Ezekiel?” He wanted to know what his prophet really saw. Would he look with eyes of faith?

What do you see?

It is very important to believe God for the bigger picture, no matter how impossible it seems. God is a God of miracles! He is a God of restoration! He is a God who loves to put the enemy to an open shame and completely reverse what Satan has done to bring death and destruction!

We can choose to see with our natural eyes, but that will leave us feeling very overwhelmed and discouraged. When we choose to look with eyes of faith, however, we see our God as being greater than any evil plot, scheme, or destructive force the enemy can cook up. Satan was defeated at the cross and will always remain defeated. Our job is to BELIEVE God, put our trust in Him, and agree with His word. God needs our agreement so that He can release answers to prayer! He is always watching over His word, ready to send out answers, but we must form an agreement by faith before He can act.

The Lord said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching My word to see that it is fulfilled.”  (Jeremiah 1:12)

Esther’s Decree served as an indictment of charges leveled against Haman. She then wrote a decree that reversed the king’s original decree. Their fate was no longer sealed. The day that the enemy had planned for their destruction became a divine reversal, where the Jews were empowered, encouraged and emboldened with courage to take back their power. This caused the Jews to prevail over their enemies.

This is the hour to turn the tables on the enemy!

When situations look hopelessly too far gone to think they can change, that is the time when God will act. This is how He displays His glory! Choose to change what you see. Choose to look at whatever situations you may be facing with a different perspective. Often what looks impossible in the natural is simply a divine set up for God to display His glory! Hallelujah! Give God a shout and look for Him to intervene! Let your faith rise up to believe the truth about His word.

“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

“For with God, nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.” (Mark 9:23)

“Behold, I am the Lord; the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27)

Friend, what situation are you looking at today? What do you believe is too far gone for God to fix? What situation has you throwing your hands up in defeat, saying that you’re dealing with a hopeless situation? What lie have you come into agreement with that has led you to believe that it is impossible to turn around? I encourage you to take another look and take God at His word! There is always a reason to hope when we have Christ. He has a way into every situation, He is just waiting to the opportune moment!

If we are honest with one another, we must admit that sometimes He does wait until all hope has been exhausted. Nothing has brought about the change we were hoping to see. We feel completely powerless to change the situation we wanted to change.

God steps in.

Often the way God steps into a situation doesn’t immediately make it better. It can see to get far worse. Remember the story of Lazarus? Jesus waited until death had claimed it’s prize. There was grief. There was a sense of hopelessness – except for one. The least likely perhaps to demonstrate faith came from a person who never even seemed to be paying attention. Always distracted. Voted least likely to be paying attention to Jesus’s teaching. Always concerned with trivial matters. That’s right, Martha. Martha, in a time when funeral arrangements were past, prayers had been seemingly ignored, and her brother was 4 days dead in the tomb. Martha’s hope surged into faith. That’s when Jesus showed up. Take a look at John 11:21,22:

Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, I know that if you had been here my brother would not have died. But even now, I know that God will give you whatever you ask Him.”

I can just see Jesus’s head turn in her direction. One eyebrow raised. What did she just say? A knowing smile of pleasure crept across his face. He nodded. She got it. Martha started shaking off off the unbelief, sadness and heaviness of the moment. While everyone else was grieving, Martha put a demand on the anointing. Faith was present to work a miracle! The compassion of the Lord compelled him to get involved, but He also had a spiritual principle he was trying to get across to those who followed Him. He never cuts a process short. He lets it run its course. Perhaps that is all He is doing in your situation now. Choose to believe!

Spiritual Principles of Breakthrough

My friends, there is a combination of elements necessary to release breakthrough. One is genuine faith in the midst of an impossible situation. The other is the word of God. The prophetic anointing sees beyond the natural and grabs hold of a different reality. The apostolic anointing declares the laws of God’s kingdom and pulls them into the natural, utilizing declarations and decrees. We don’t beg, plead or ask in prayer; apostolic prayer declares God’s word and His will and commands it to come forth. The results are in God's hand and in His timing. By faith we believe in the God who raises the dead, calling them back to life, and we call forth things (that do not yet appear in the natural) and we command them to exist. (See Romans 4:17)

A New Decree Changes the Outcome

Esther wrote a new decree to turn a day appointed for destruction into a day of victory and rejoicing. If you want to overturn the enemy’s assignments, learn from her example. Learn from Jesus’ example as He always combated the enemy with scripture! What situation is calling for you to take action? What problem can only be resolved by writing a decree of your own? Decrees carry the weight of God’s authority!

The following prayer is long. But it has been written using the very form and words of Esther’s decree, and we all know hers was very effective.  It accomplished exactly what was needed in that hour! The following royal decree, tailored in the fashion of Esther’s original decree, is to turn the tables on the enemy and once again put spiritual powers of darkness to an open shame.

A Prayer and Declaration to Turn the Tables on the Enemy

Let’s pray:

From the Lord Jesus Christ and our heavenly Father, this message and declaration to His sons and daughters in the faith, to those called according to the Father’s purpose:

Whereas the enemy has sought to glorify himself through the destruction of mankind and,

Whereas the enemy has sought to elevate himself in a position of being ‘like God,’ and sought for himself a throne where he would be worshiped;

Whereas spiritual forces of darkness and destruction have had evil assignments against the citizens of our homeland and of this nation;

Whereas principalities and powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual and natural authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly and earthly realms have waged war against the innocent and against the children of God,

Whereas many unjust people, including lawmakers, politicians and elected officials have become ambitious, lustful and greedy for selfish gain, therefore putting the lives of the citizens of this great nation as risk,

Whereas through their hatred, enmity and contempt for God and others they seek to harm the citizens of our nation and of our homeland, plotting against those who elected them,

Whereas their actions have driven out faith, compassion, love, mercy and gratitude from among humankind and have demonstrated arrogant boastfulness, acting as if they can avoid accountability and escape the stern judgment of the all-seeing, Almighty God,

Whereas those who have cloaked their hatred with disguise and entrusted with the administration of affairs have induced many in authority to become accomplices in the shedding of innocent blood, the destruction of souls and many other irreparable calamities,

Whereas those in authority, power, position and influence have used their means to place the lives and well-being of many citizens in jeopardy, proving they are unfit to hold a position requiring public trust,

Whereas they have deceived with malicious slander the sincere good will of others,

Whereas this is verifiable by the witness of Your Holy Spirit and others, provides proof that their wicked deeds are undeserving of authority,

Whereas those who have benefited from the good will of the people who voted them into office and promoted them to positions of power and authority have proven they are unable to control their arrogance, striving to deprive others of civil liberties, life, health, freedom and God given human rights,

Whereas the enemy and adversary has sought to catch the citizens of our nation and of our homeland defenseless and unaware, and is intent to transfer the rule of God’s kingdom to the kingdom of darkness,

Whereas we are governed by very just laws of the kingdom of God, our homeland, and must secure a peaceful future for our families, and future generations,

Whereas we are the children of the Most High, the living God of Majesty, who has maintained the kingdom in a flourishing condition for us and future generations,

Whereas, in so much that we are Your children, heirs of the kingdom and co-heirs with Jesus Christ, and blessed by Your favor,

Whereas we are commanded to plead the cause of the poor, the fatherless, the widows and those treated unjustly,

Whereas You, O God, have promised to bring justice to the poor, to plead the cause of those taken into captivity by wicked oppressors, and save our children,

Whereas we are called to execute vengeance on the nations and punishment on the peoples to bind kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron, in the pursuit of justice, righteousness and equity, to execute on them the judgment written,

Whereas we are Your delegated authority to enforce the laws of the kingdom of heaven, a scepter of authority and a royal diadem in Your hand,

Whereas we are comforted by the promise that when we are in deep distress and call upon the name of the Lord we shall be saved and delivered from ungodly oppressors,

Whereas it is written that vengeance belongs to God,

We call for swift action from God who governs all, and mankind through whom He works and wills, to bring swift action and punishment for the crimes committed, which are witnessed by the Holy Spirit and the angelic hosts of heaven,

That wherever justice has been thwarted, and human rights disregarded; where life and liberties have been unjustly removed by men driven by greed and evil desires,

Let all men and women rise up in unity, faith and courage to defend themselves against those who attack them, attempt to make slaves of them, force them through fear and intimidation to serve the enemies of God and righteousness,

For God has turned the tables on the enemy, so that the day of destruction should be appointed as a day of gladness, celebration and rejoicing in God our Savior.

I return the word of God to YOU, Father, as it is found in Your Holy Scriptures:

Isaiah 14:14,15; Ephesians 6:13; Psalm 149:7-9; Zechariah 2:8; Psalm 50:15; Psalm 72:12, Jeremiah 33:3; Romans 12:19,20; Isaiah 30:18,19; Psalm 82:3,4; Isaiah 22:22; Galatians 4:6,7; Isaiah 49:25; Deut. 16:19; Psalm 72:4; Isaiah 62:3; Esther 8:2, 4,5,7-17.

Let this be recorded into the books of heaven, and the execution of Your justice and judgment sent forth this day, July 8, 2017 in the year of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Walking in the Realm of Authority

A prophetic dream about Ivanka Trump.

A couple nights ago, I had an unusual dream in which I seemed to play dual roles. It was as though I was Ivanka Trump. I saw myself walking closely by my father, being drawn into his confidence and a part of his decision making process concerning significant high level security matters.

In many ways, Ivanka is a picture of the bride of Christ. She has been groomed for many years in preparation for this particular time in her life. Although she may have not understood that one day she would walk alongside her father in the White House and be involved in certain aspects of helping to make weighty decisions concerning the future of our nation, everything in her life has been to prepare her for what she is doing now. Her name, by the way, means "God is gracious."

In a similar fashion, we, as the bride of Christ, learn to listen to our Father, to learn of God’s ways, and to walk closely with Him. He, in turn, allows us to be intricately involved in the matters concerning the citizens of the earth. The bride of Christ is entrusted with a great deal of authority and high-level security clearance, to not only hear what the Spirit is saying, but also to make important decisions that will affect millions of people world-wide. Ivanka, like the bride of Christ, has been given authority to exercise her decision making capabilities necessary for carrying out ‘the family business.’ She began years ago, helping to run her father’s company. Now, for such a time as this, she has been prepared to work with him and be about ‘her father’s business.’ This is a prophetic picture that allows us to see ourselves in light of who we are in Christ.

In another aspect of the dream, I also played a role of someone that had the responsibility of choosing wedding rings for Ivanka and her soon to be groom. Now, in the natural we all know that Ivanka is already married, so I knew that God was speaking prophetically about who she is and what she represents. It’s interesting in the fact that she is married to Jared Kushner, yet her identity is more widely known, and I think perhaps always will be known more so as who she is in relationship to her father. Ivanka’s identity is tied into her relationship with her father, just as we receive our true identity from our heavenly father.

I picked out an elegant yet simply set of rings. When I presented the ring boxes to Ivanka, her ring had golden initials carved into it, and I instantly recognized it as some sort of a signet ring. That was the end of the dream.

Signet rings have been used for thousands of years. They have played an important role in business and politics, as well as meaningful family matters. They were created for the purpose of acting as a signature or seal of authenticity. Historically, a gentleman wore a signet ring that had some unique identifying mark, such as his initials or the family crest, that identified the person wearing it. When dipped in hot wax, the signet ring would be applied to important documents as a seal of authenticity. In Medieval times, signet rings became a sign of nobility, class and wealth. They were was used to sign and seal important papers and formal documents. The King’s signet ring became the most prized in all the world.

I believe the dream represents God’s affirmation of His transfer of authority. He wants His children to walk confidently, knowing that as we walk closely with Him, we are no longer slaves, but heirs to the kingdom.

"Now you are no longer slaves, but God's own child. And since you are His child, God has made you His heir." (Galatians 4:7)

We must be about our Father’s business, and He has empowered us to execute justice and judgments that will bring the authority of God's kingdom into the earth.

In Genesis 41:42, Pharaoh took off his signet ring and gave it to Joseph. This indicated a transfer of authority. Pharaoh empowered Joseph to be in charge and carry out his God-given assignment. Joseph was promoted to the highest office in the land, second only to Pharaoh. Joseph was given a great deal of authority that enabled him to save many lives and provide for others during a lengthy famine. Although Joseph went through a long period of preparation and testing, the day finally arrived where he was taken out of a place of obscurity and confinement, to a place where he was catapulted into a position of prominence. The very quality that others lacked was what was needed in a time of national crisis. God placed His wisdom and ability to interpret dreams in a man that others, including his own family, rejected. The wisdom of God would become the most sought after commodity by the world’s most important person at that time (Pharaoh).

Another illustration that seems to be more fitting with the context of the dream is when King Ahasuerus gave his signet ring to Queen Esther and advised her to write a new decree, protecting the Jews from an evil plot conspired for their imminent destruction.

"For how can I endure to see the calamity which will befall my people, and how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?" So King Ahasuerus said to Queen Esther and to Mordecai the Jew, "Behold, I have given the house of Haman to Esther, and him they have hanged on the gallows because he had stretched out his hands against the Jews. "Now you write to the Jews as you see fit, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's signet ring; for a decree which is written in the name of the king and sealed with the king's signet ring may not be revoked." (Esther 8:7,8 NASB)

The king’s signet ring carried such authority that whatever received the royal stamp of his approval became ‘law.’ It could not be reversed or broken except by writing a new decree. The enemy, Haman, had tricked the king into passing a law that was very destructive in nature towards a certain class of people – the Jews. What Haman didn’t know at the time is that the King’s wife had been secretly hiding her identity as a Jew! When Esther revealed her secret to the king and exposed the plot orchestrated by Haman, the king was outraged. King Ahaseurus was delighted to accommodate Esther’s request to help her people, but he surprised her by telling her that he was giving her the authority to act, on her own. Whatever decree she wrote would essentially be signed and approved in his name. As the king’s royal bride, Esther shared as an equal partner in His authority. She was empowered to change unjust laws, and there was no one in the kingdom that could nullify the decree that she wrote. It carried the word of the king and the weight of his authority. No one could break the power of the law written in his name.

This is the message God wants us to understand. Like Esther, we have been empowered to act. Our King, the Lord Jesus Christ, has transferred His authority to us, the church. There are many unjust laws that have been written under the cloak of deception, intended by the enemy to bring people into captivity. Some have been written in order to remove certain civil liberties. Others have an assignment of death attached to them. These things should cause a response of righteous indignation in us and compel us to take action! God is raising up a new generation of Esthers. A new generation of Josephs. A new generation of people who are coming into their God ordained authority, position and influence for such a time as this. In the natural, it may seem like some of the battles we face seem impossible. Who ever thought that trying to overturn government laws would be something God called them to do? Contending with the government appears to be an impossible task, yet God’s word tells us,

“What is impossible with man is possible with God.” (Luke 18:27)

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to them that believe.” (Mark 9:23)

“Therefore I say to you, what things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.” (Mark 11:24)

God’s word has spiritual laws encoded into the scriptures. God’s word, His law, is more powerful than earthly laws. He is more powerful than mere men that pass ungodly laws. God’s word trumps everything man has done! He is reminding each of us today that He loves us and trusts us to do what is called for in this hour – to write a new decree – and it will carry the weight of His authority. He has given us His signet ring. We have His stamp of approval. We are empowered to act, to change the laws of the land by declaring the laws encoded in His scripture. Rise up, man of God! Rise up, woman of God! Write a new decree! Overturn injustice. Rewrite the future of your people. Rewrite the outcome of the story for the citizens of this earth. The King has given you His authority to release change in the earth!
