Turning the tide of the resistance is one thing, but that is not the end. The weariness you've felt is because of the great resistance. Even when the enemy retreats, expect one last push. It's a winner-take-all fight. Get ready for the battle! This is a battle for dominion, and the winner gets to keep the spoils.
In order to invade enemy territory, you have to get him to retreat. Retreat gains you the advantage to thin out enemy forces and putting great strain on their supply and communication lines., but when the enemy seems as if he is retreating then understand that his strategy is to make a run for another attack. His ability to deceive you into thinking he has given up and gone away is often just that: a deception. When you understand how your enemy thinks, you can then ask God for a strategy to outwit his next move. When the enemy uses this tactic against people, this is often the time when siege warfare is implemented. He restricts finances severely. The enemy's goal is to impoverish and cut off everything that is needed for a successful battle. He wears people out with fear and worry, for those things gnaw away at our peace and act as a smokescreen so that we focus on the wrong things. He attacks relationships, separates us from others, and in doing so, cuts off the communication needed in order to advance against him. You cannot rally the troops or share intel with people when communication is cut off, right? This is how we in turn recognize his tactics and pray that is what occurs in the enemy's camp.
**Please remember that we have legitimate enemies. There are terrorists and others that have evil plans against our nation and its citizens. Invasion from foreign armies, namely ISIS, is imminent and we must do all we can to pray for the tables to be turned against evil plots. Every time God takes from one person, or group of people to give to another, it is for the sake of kingdom advancement, to take ground away from the enemy and establish the dominion of the kingdom of God where evil once reigned. Don't be shy about praying what needs to be prayed so that God's troops can advance.**
I pray for Your favor on land, in the airwaves and on sea. I pray for Your favor to help us advance against every enemy, adversary and foe, to take dominion away from evil men and advance in order to implement justice for the oppressed. I ask You to dispatch angels to lay siege to enemy supply lines and cut off their communication with one another. I ask You to squeeze, hinder, interrupt and remove the enemy's ability to gather intel, finances, and supplies. Blow up loyalties between allies and separate enemy forces from one another. Thin out enemy forces and cause them to retreat, give up and utterly take themselves out of the battle. Feed the enemy's paranoia by convincing them that those they are fighting are superior in every way and have capabilities that they cannot match. Open the eyes of the blind to see in faith, that those that are with God and His people are more than that are with those that fight against us. Release information that convinces them them they have already lost so that they will not attack. Show Your people what is on the enemy's horizon and help us develop a plan to unravel enemy schemes.
Rally Your people O Lord, and whistle for Your troops to establish a fortified front against enemy assault. Help Your people, O God, to advance into enemy territory and set up outposts. Enable us to recover what has been lost. Help us recover what the enemy has claimed for himself. In Jesus name, amen.
"So David recovered all that the Amalekites had taken, and rescued his two wives. But nothing of theirs was missing, whether small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything that they had taken for themselves; David brought it all back..." 1 Sam. 30:17-19.
"So the king appointed a certain officer for her (the Shunammite woman) saying, "Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left until now." 2 Kings 8:6
"For the Lord had caused the army of the Arameans to hear a sound of chariots and a sound of horses, even the sound of a great army, so that they said to one another, "Behold, the king of Israel has hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. Therefore, they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents and their horses and their donkeys, even the camp just as it was and fled for their life." 2 Kings 7:6,7
