Wisdom to Defeat the Enemy

'Wisdom to Defeat the Enemy' by Laura Gagnon, has been one of the most spiritually enlightening and inspirational pieces we've read in quite some time. The text very effectively uses faith and belief in God in helping us face our personal demons in our daily life. All of us are fighting battles within ourselves, whether they're physical or mental, that no one knows about. From anxiety and depression to anger and jealousy, this book is a perfect Christian guide for tackling the mental health problems that we face today. The inclusion of countless prayers and Bible verses gives it the perfect finishing touch to appeal to the reader's emotions. Along with that, the style of writing also grabs the reader’s attention emotionally and spiritually. The author's unique writing style manages to have the perfect mix of elegance and casual charm to it, and is an inspiration to all those who need Jesus in their lives.

Healing the Heart of a Woman

The book is comforting, encouraging as well as challenging. Growth and change only happens when choosing to be challenged and confronted with the truth.Indeed, we are a people in desperate need of healing. There is an unseen battle being fought and we, as believers, will NOT be over-comers and victorious unless we renounce the lies we've believed about ourselves and clothe ourselves in our King's Truth. "For such a time as this"....rise up, people of God. He is your Healer. This book is a must-read for any woman...no matter your background, experiences, demographic, etc. Keep a highlighter in your hand or nearby as you read this book. Trust me, you will need it!
