Unraveling the lies of Islam

Many people make the mistake of thinking that God and Allah are one and the same. This is not true. It is not in the Bible, and the Bible is the doctrine that Christians follow. God has many names but Allah is not one of them. He has never, ever referred to himself by that name and He does not respond to that name.
We all need discernment to guide us into truth.

Before I get further into the article, let me present this question to anyone of a religious belief. "Do you have peace with your god, with yourself and others? Do you have a sense of knowing that your sins are atoned for and that your conscience is clean? Do you know with all certainty that your sins are wiped away and that you will enter heaven when you leave this earth? Do you have a sense of fulfillment and joy?

Jesus Christ is the answer to all of these questions, for those things are found in Him. Jesus is love. He wants a relationship with you!

Islam believes they are the one true religion and that one day all must submit to their god, Allah. This of course is a direct contradiction to the truth, for it is written in the Bible that "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth," according to Phil. 2:10. It is also written in Romans 14:11, a reference to Jesus' own words: It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'"

I realize that none of us can convict another person of our own convictions or beliefs because it is the work of the Holy Spirit to do so. Jesus said that when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will convict the world of sin and reveal the truth that makes people free, in John 8:32. But, here are some facts to consider.

We have to go back to the beginning in order to understand the difference between what Muslims believe and those of the Christian faith. All the way back to the book of Genesis. The whole root of this confusion and clash of religious beliefs stems from jealousy. There was and still is an ancient hatred that has been between the Jews and the Arabs, and it all comes down to ancestry. Isaac and Ishmael. The one who was chosen as the inheritor of the promise, and the one who was rejected. Abraham had pleaded with God to let the promise come through Ishmael, because at the time he could not bear to wait upon God any longer for the promise to be fulfilled. Abraham, or Abram, as he was called at the time, had gone to his slave woman Hagar and had a child with her. For many years, Ishmael was the only child he had, and he thought the promise would not come any other way. But God's original intent still held true. "Then God said, 'No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his descendants after him." Gen. 37:19

Although the Bible clearly states that Isaac and his seed was chosen to inherit the promises of God, Muslims believe it was Ishmael. This is the first lie the enemy told them. They believe they are the rightful inheritors to the land and the promises that belonged to Abraham. Ishmael was said to be a 'wild man,' whose hand would always be at war and who lived among his brethren.

"The angel of the LORD said to her (Hagar) further,

         “Behold, you are with child,

         And you will bear a son;
And you shall call his name Ishmael,
Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction.
“He will be a wild donkey of a man,

His hand will be against everyone,

         And everyone’s hand will be against him;
And he will live to the east of all his brothers.” Genesis 16:11,12

Ishmael's descendants are the Arab peoples who populate most of the Middle East today. When Abraham's wife, Sarah, gave birth to the child of promise, Isaac, Sarah noticed their slave woman Hagar, scoffing her and her child. She knew that the child that came through the slave could not share in the inheritance with her son because he was the child of the 'free woman.' So Sarah had Abraham send Hagar and Ishmael away. This brought upon them both a sense of rejection and jealousy, and this is what the enemy has done to exploit the pain and shame of their descendants throughout history.

There is an ancient root of jealousy that produced hatred and war, and this has caused the difference in religious beliefs between those of the Muslim religion and Christianity. That anger and strife has remained as a generational curse in the Arab nations. Did Allah ever marry or have any sons? I am not a scholar of the Muslim faith but I do not believe so.The spirit of the anti-Christ works to create sons in an illegitimate way through the will and flesh of man, just the way Ishmael came into the world. Ishmael represents what man can do in his own strength rather than waiting and trusting God to fulfill His promise His way. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit. (Zech. 4:6) Ishmael came into the world as a son of Abraham, but through his slave woman, Hagar. Ishmael's descendants are also born into spiritual slavery and that spirit makes them slave to an ungodly slave master through deception and the teachings of the Muslim religion.

The Koran refers to Jesus Christ as the breath of God, the Word of God, the life of God and the Spirit of God. The Koran also references a virgin birth, a supernatural birth without human involvement. How can that occur unless it is from God? This is a direct fulfillment of prophecy about the Messiah. Isaiah 7:14 says, "Therefore the Lord  Himself will give you a sign, behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Immanuel means "God is with us." The angel was the messenger announcing that the birth of the virgin's child would indeed be God with humanity! Luke 1:26,27,30,31 also declare: "Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary...Then the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus." The name Jesus means, 'God saves.' So it is through Jesus, whose name means "God is salvation," that we are saved. It is through His death to pay the penalty for our sins in our place, and through Him living within us, that God gives us salvation. The Meaning of "Christ".

Muslims also believe that Jesus returned to heaven after the cross and will one day come back again, and that His coming back will usher in the final judgment. I present this question for your consideration. How can one go to heaven and remain there all this time, with the expectation that He will come again to usher in the final judgment, and not see that He returned to heaven because that is where He originally came from? When Jesus returns, after being there all this time, will He not reveal the very glory of God? Jesus was not just a man and not just a prophet or teacher; the scriptures declare the Jesus is God. This refutes the second lie that Islam is led to believe. If Jesus was a regular man like any other 'prophet,' as Islam teaches, then how could he survive in heaven? How could a regular man obtain entrance into such a holy place UNLESS HE IS WITHOUT SIN AND ALSO GOD? How can one refer to the Spirit of God and not agree that one's Spirit is the essence of who they really are? John 4:24 in the Bible teaches that God is Spirit. His Spirit is also known as the Spirit of Truth. Any god that is worthy of being called 'god' must be able to prove he is all powerful, all knowing, and omnipotent. He must be unable to lie, Holy and without fault.

In John 8:32 - Jesus said, " and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." 33They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free '?"…

Jesus is eternal, meaning , He has always existed. "And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." (Colossians 1:17)

God is all powerful: "And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power". 1 Corinthians 6:14

God is Creator: " It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens." Jer. 10:12

God is omnipotent in power: "The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in His justice and great righteousness, He does not oppress." Job 37:23

"By the word of the Lord the heavens were made; their starry host by the breath of His mouth." Ps. 33:6

This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord,  the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who formed the world by Myself." Isaiah.44:24

God is omnipotent in salvation: "To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present  you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord before all  ages, now and forevermore! Amen." Jude 24,25

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Acts 10:43

I mean no disrespect but ANYONE believing in any god must ask the right questions, otherwise how can they truly know whether or not their faith is in the right thing? In regards to Allah, and his prophet Mohammed, "How can Allah and Mohammed claim to be free from sin when the doctrine they follow in the Koran involves the use of fear, torture, rape, murder and many other sins?" "Is this not the work of Satan and darkness?" If a person is a true disciple of Allah, then they cannot avoid the extreme views in the doctrine of that religion. I understand that the Koran also states that it is ok to deceive people in order to convert them or achieve their cause. How can anyone agree that lying in order to advance a cause could come from a holy source? If that 'god' is not holy, pure or righteous, why serve him? Some other questions to think about are, "Can Allah or Mohammed claim to be selfless and compassionate or offer any proof that they gave their life for their followers? Or is the religion based on works?" Jesus offers acceptance in Christ through His own blood, while other religions must earn favor with their gods and are left wondering if they have 'done enough' to please their god. In the end the question remains, "Does the god you profess possess the power to save you? If it does not, then why place your faith and pledge your loyalties to a god that cannot save you, or fulfill any of his promises?

If I understand correctly, according to the Koran, Islam demands their followers pay the penalty of death, inflict pain and suffering upon others, and take away all free will of others. No one is allowed to think for themselves or have a difference of opinion unless they are willing to suffer at the hands of those carrying out the will of their 'god'. Islam makes slaves, not free men. Can any father force his child to love him, or does love and trust have to be earned?Yahweh is not a slave master. He allows every person to choose for themselves whom they will serve and who they call Father of their faith. Look at what Islam produces: women in chains, men who are afraid to think for themselves, children as innocent victims in a war of insanity and deception. See for yourself what is taught in the Bible:

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be my son; but the fearful and the unbelieving and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire that burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:7,8

"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment." Matthew 5:21

Here we see that to overcome does not mean by force, as that is never taught anywhere in the scriptures. God gives every person a free will to make their own choice whether or not to love Him and serve Him. Otherwise it would not be love. It is to overcome by practicing righteousness that Jesus taught. Jesus taught that the greatest commandment was to love God with all our heart, mind and strength and LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES. (Matthew 22:36-40).

God forgives our sin when we confess it to Him and ask Him for His mercy and forgiveness, and gratitude for having received His great grace is what prompts us to love Him and serve Him. The truth that Jesus Christ IS GOD is there even in the teachings of the Koran, but to the Muslims, it has been obscured by the lies of the enemy. The truth has been twisted.
The lie is based in rejection, just as Satan convinces anyone he lies to. He has told them that God is not their Father, that He has rejected them, and that they are not chosen. Though the Bible references the Old Testament scriptures to make a spiritual point, what was once true in ancient times is not necessarily true today. Abraham was a son of God through faith, and today, any of his children have the possibility of receiving the same promises that were given to Isaac and his seed - simply by receiving Yahweh as their God. It is that which comes by faith in Abraham's God, YHWH, or Yahweh. He is the Father of all those that accept the offer of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. God desires sons and daughters so much that He gave the life of His own son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for the sins of mankind all throughout the ages. Through the sinless life of Christ, His death and resurrection, he made a way for all people of every race, culture and nationality to be grafted into God's family tree. The only thing they must do to receive this free gift is to believe the truth and desire to live in it.

That which was once wild, is grafted into the tree by FAITH. Because the roots are holy, so are the branches. The roots of the tree are in Christ Jesus. That is what makes the entire family tree holy. That is for every person, every race, every culture. If, by faith, you come to the truth and confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and want to be a part of God's family, then He will receive you. He has made a provision for Arabs, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, any any other religion to change their minds about what they believe and allow that change of heart to lead them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Remember, the Koran makes reference to Jesus Christ by name as the Spirit of God and the Word of God, both of which agree with scripture in the Bible. So, for any Muslim to disagree with this truth and reject it, it means that they have traded in the truth for a lie and have become self deceived. Allah is NOT God. There can only be one true God. The other is a lie - formulated by the strength of the man that wrote the Koran. Mohammed may have had a visitation from an angel, but it was not an angel from heaven. Whatever  messenger he encountered was from hell, darkness and so twisted his message to deceive Mohammed. This is how the enemy has led Muslims straight to hell, not paradise, as they have been led to believe. "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love" (I John 4:8)

Any 'god' that forces people  to serve him or be placed under penalty of death is not a god that is confident people will chose him of their own free will. "Allah" is afraid for his followers to know the truth, that they have been lied to. He is afraid to allow them to freely choose whether or not they actually want to serve him, because he knows that many do not. This alone proves that Allah is not all powerful. Jesus Christ gives every man, woman or child the freedom to chose whom they will serve. He does not use fear, intimidation, death or torture to gain followers. He shows them love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness in hopes that people will realize He alone has offered his life for theirs, as atonement for their sins. How selfless! Can that be said of Allah or Muhammed, or any other god, for that matter? Has Allah or Muhammed ever raised anyone from the dead? Healed them? Set them free? No.

How then, can Allah make a claim to be God? He cannot. In order for Allah to be God, he must prove he has the power to atone for sin, forgive, heal, save and deliver. No man can atone for his own sin. If man could earn god's approval and acceptance on his own merit then he would not need a god at all. Allah is not holy, powerful or pure at heart. He has no power to forgive sin. Allah has made a false claim to be a god. But, Jesus has  proven His love, His power, and the reality of His kingdom from which He came. Not only is it written down in the Bible for our proof, but there are multitudes of eyewitness testimonies throughout history of people who have experienced the reality of Christ's power. They have seen His kingdom. They have visited hell, and they know the truth. They know the truth, and it has set them free. These are Jesus' witnesses.

Has any Muslim at any time ever gone to paradise and returned to testify of it? They cannot, because it is all a deception. It does not exist, except in the fabricated lies of Satan himself. On the other hand, there are many people of many races, religions and beliefs that have had personal encounters with the living God, Jesus Christ. they have visited heaven and come back to testify that it is real. There are too many eyewitness accounts that agree in their experiences that prove Jesus Christ is God and heaven is real. Let the lies be unraveled and the truth set the captives free.

Read a powerful testimony of a Muslim woman who converted to Christianity, died, and came back from the dead to tell about her experience in heaven.

You Are The Prophetic Word Fulfilled

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus the Son became the living fulfillment of the SPOKEN word that was with God from the very beginning. That is why we can say that Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy.

From the beginning of creation and before even that took place, there were words spoken in heaven about the Son, His future and His destiny. His purpose was wrapped up in those prophetic words spoken between the Godhead and the heavenly hosts. This is a truth that is key to each one of us understanding our own destiny and purpose.

The Godhead has had conversations about each one of us since before time and creation ever came to be. Our Father has discussed our destiny and purpose with he Son, Holy Spirit and with the angels. They know and understand things about us that we don't understand about ourselves! Why? Because they are privy to the conversations. Just because we have not heard those conversations, does not mean that they have not taken place. In the beginning, we were with God, because our spirit is eternal. He has spoken words about us, prophecies, that pertain to our life purpose, future and destiny. We are now, like Jesus, in the sense that we are the spoken word come into physical existence to fulfill an ancient prophecy. Jesus looked into the scriptures, rehearsed the things spoken about the Messiah, and understood what was required of Him. He had a clear picture that kept him focused, but intimacy with God kept him anchored in God's love. That is what enabled him to fulfill His purpose.

Knowing and understanding the words that have been spoken about you by God himself are key to being able to fulfill that purpose and carry out the destiny that is assigned to you. Each one of us carries a very specific anointing that is there to help us accomplish the purposes of God. Let me ask you, when you look into scripture, do you feel drawn to a particular biblical character? Do you feel an affinity towards someone or something that witnesses to your Spirit a resemblance or similarity in character or purpose? Have you had prophetic words spoken about you that compare you to a biblical person? Those may be good keys to the type of anointing that help you identify your calling and purpose. Ask the Lord to give you new eyes to look into scripture and pull out the things that not only clarify your identity but also your purpose and destiny. Pursue God to ask Him to reveal what HE HAS SAID about you in the heavenly realm. Ask Him to show you how He sees you, and to share with you the conversations that heaven has had about you. Not only will it draw you closer to the heart of God, but it will help you see yourself in light of your destiny, as a child of God sent into this world to fulfill a divine purpose.

An Unusual Strategy

Allow me to introduce you to the story of Naaman, found in 2 Kings 5. Naaman was the commander of the Syrian army. Israel's enemy. Naaman had a problem. A big problem, called leprosy. It made him unclean, but leprosy had no cure. It was a slow death, and those with leprosy were often exiled in order to try to contain the disease.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.
And the Syrians had gone out by companies, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy.
And one went in, and told his lord, saying, Thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
And the king of Syria said, Go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of raiment.
And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy.
And it came to pass, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he rent his clothes, and said, Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man doth send unto me to recover a man of his leprosy? wherefore consider, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me.
And it was so, when Elisha the man of God had heard that the king of Israel had rent his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, Wherefore hast thou rent thy clothes? let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.
So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.

You may know the rest of the story.Naaman was deeply offended at being told to go dip in the muddy Jordan River and had a fit of anger. Eventually though, his servants talked sense into him and he humbled himself to obedience. He received his miracle from God.

I have heard many people preach on the subject of Naaman and his pride. Perhaps you have, too. However, this particular article touches on a different aspect of God at work that I would like to bring out. It's about God using an unusual strategy to get to an enemy's heart.

One thing I find particular interesting in this story is the strategy that God uses to heal this man. Naaman was the commanding leader for the ENEMY army. Imagine how Elisha felt when Israel's enemy came looking for a healing. What audacity! What arrogance! And the opposing king as well, because he writes letters to theking of Israel on behalf of Naaman and asks him to heal him. The king of Israel is distraught. He is thinking, "Who am I that you think I can make this happen? Am I God??" When someone comes to you with an outrageous request, it can feel like that. You expect me to do...what?

Sometimes, God will bring someone to you with an audacious request. You might not want to help them, but keep in mind that God might just be setting the stage to penetrate the enemy's camp! That bold request that comes knocking on your door just might be God's unusual strategy in your life to unravel the enemy's defenses from inside his own camp.

Put it in terms of what is going on in the Middle East today. It would be like a commander of the Hamas army going over into Israel asking Prime Minister Netanyahu to bring out their best prophet and work a miracle - just because they asked nicely. Yeah, we're out to destroy you, but oh by the way, my commander - the most vicious dog in our army - needs a healing. I'm sending him over to you so he can get healed. Hook him up with your prophet, ok? Hmmm.

Not sure that one would fly. How do you think Israel would feel about that? Yet, God is so brilliant...He heals the Naaman in spite of his character spuite of what he does for a living... in spite of who he's connected with, and he gets safe passage back home. Naaman just experienced Israel's God at work, and no doubt he was very humbled at what he received. How do you think that affected him every time he had to then give his army a command to go to war and attack Israel? Do you think his loyalties were challenged? Perhaps he made a few 'mistakes' so that Israel and their God would not be offended? After all, do you think he would want to go and offend the God that just healed him? Do you think he would risk losing his healing? I don't think so. Now, the text doesn't tell us those details, but God didnt' include that story just for the part about the need to show humility in order to receive from Him. I think perhaps there is more to that story that might have occurred as a result of God demonstrating kindness to a man that didn't deserve it. And so He is with all of us. His kindness is what leads men to repentance.

There is a lot to consider in this story from a variety of angles. I love the message of humility, but I also love the fact that God's strategies are often quite unusual. He has a strategy for each one of our situations, we just need to ask for it. And, ask Him to send us those He wants us to pray for. think of all the situations that could be changed by God's strategies to invade the very place where the enemy plots death and destruction, and lays out his own blueprints to his plots and schemes. Pray for your family, your friends, your countrymen. Pray for those the enemy is using to inflict evil. None of us like hearing about some of the arrogant boasts from the enemy's mouth, yet, none of us know who God has His eye on to have an unexpected encounter with Him. An encounter that will humble them and change their heart. It might even be in the drug cartels or the terrorist camps. We just never know. Yet, knowing that God can choose anyone to do His will, even without their consent, is a thought that can give us all hope. Let your faith be encouraged today. God sees everything. He sits in the heavens and laughs at the foolishness of men's pride. God can put His foot down on any one of them in a moment if He chooses to! If God did it once, He can do it again, and He has, many times over. Something tells me, a turn-around is not too far away in the future. May the God of peace crush Satan under your feet shortly. Amen. It's already been done in the Spirit; believe it and call it in!

Divine Protection

With all the civil unrest in various parts of the world, I thought it is a good time to send this out. Amen. Let the enemy come unraveled!

Pray: I ask You, Lord, to set up safety and protection for all those that come under the umbrella of my prayer. I pray for myself, my family members, people in the body of Christ as well as those in my city. I pray for every citizen in my nation, Israel and in the middle eastern nations. Father, You said your wisdom would make us wiser than our enemies, and I ask that You give people wisdom and discernment to understand the motivation of people's hearts. Let people be able to clearly see what is motivating the actions of others. Let those that rise up with a voice of accusation, anger, offense, violence and bitter hatred be clothed with shame and their plots come to nothing. You are my shield, Lord Jesus and my great reward. You are my place of strength and refuge. You said in Isaiah 54:17 that NO weapon formed against us would prosper, and every tongue that rises up against Your people would be condemned. We claim your promise in Psalm 91. A thousand may fall at our left hand and 10 thousand on our right, but trouble will not come near us. Because we have made the Lord our dwelling place, no evil shall befall us nor shall any plague come near our dwelling. For You have given Your angels charge over us to keep us in all Your ways and they shall bear us up.

Help your people to stand in the day of temptation. Deliver us from evil and the temptations aimed at us in order to lure us into sin. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one as it is written in Matthew 6:13. You are able to make us stand and keep us from falling into sin. You are able to keep us blameless. Help us to walk in obedience so that the enemy cannot find anything in us to use against us.

I ask that You arrange the timing of our days and interrupt the plans and schemes of the enemy so that we avoid accidents, premeditated plots, spontaneous trouble and dangerous situations. Let the wicked that try to come against me stumble and fall, according to Your word in Ps. 27:2. You, O God, are the strength of my salvation and You have covered my head in the day of battle. Do not grant, O Lord, the desires of the wicked. Do not further their wicked schemes lest they be exalted, as it is written in Ps. 140:7,8. Do not let a slanderer be established in the earth. Keep us from the snares set by wicked men, and from the traps of workers of iniquity. Let those that would set traps for us get caught in their own nets, while Your people escape safely, according to Your word in Ps. 141:8,9. I ask for angelic protection and divine intervention to interrupt the plans of the enemy.I declare that every weapon formed will fail in the hands of the enemy. No gun will fire. No bomb will detonate.Every rocket will be supernaturally redirected back into the enemy camp by the hand of God. I declare civil uprising will be supernaturally quieted by the release of the Prince of Peace.

I thank You that the angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear You, and Your angel is with me, my family members and those in the Body of Christ where ever we go. Situations and individuals, demons and darkness do not control the atmosphere; I walk in dominion and therefore I dictate the atmosphere, and what is allowed and what is not. I bind up the spirit of fear, anger, jealousy, murder, vengeance and retaliation and according to what You have accomplished for us on the cross, Lord Jesus, I declare these evil spirits to be rendered powerless and paralyzed. Let them be frozen by the declarations made by Your people, and carried to the place where You tell them to go. Lethe strong arm of the Lord be released against the works of evil. Send Your angels for our help, Lord Jesus.

I declare the Lord is our help, and if the feet of His servants begins to slip, His mercy will hold them up, as it is written in Ps. 94:18.

I declare the Lord will keep His servants from falling and present us blameless without fault before His presence, according to Jude 1:24.

I declare the Lord is able to make His people stand, as it is written in Romans 14:4, and I claim this promise for me and my family.

I declare the Lord is my defense and the rock of my refuge. Anyone that rises against me or my family, or others in the body of Christ that are the Lord's servants shall have the Lord for their defense. He shall bring the iniquity of troublemakers upon their own heads as it is written in Ps. 94:22,23.

I declare our hope shall not be cut off. The plans and purposes of God shall not be cut off. God delivers His people out of the hand of the wicked and light is sown for the righteous, according to Ps. 97:10.

I declare that anger, fear, rage, a spirit of murder and the spirit of Cain, vengeance, and all the works of the enemy must be interrupted and unraveled now in Jesus name.

I declare that that spirit of anger must be bound where ever I step foot, and I take authority over the atmosphere, worshipping You, Lord Jesus, and releasing peace where ever I am. Greater is He that is in me than He that is in this world, and I command fear and anger to bow to the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, the Lord is Peace.

I declare the Lord’s reign and rule, and Your kingdom authority be released into the atmosphere where ever I go. I call all things into divine order and command them to come into alignment with Your will, plans and purposes now, in Jesus name.

He Trains My Hands for War

Gone are the days of comfortable Christianity. As we look at the world around us, negative reports of violence, terrorist activity and war saturate the news. Keeping a positive state of mind can be a challenge when spiritual warfare is so evident all around us. For some, it even keeps us up at night in intercession.

We are at a time in history when we simply cannot afford to play around. Our faith is going to require something of us. I was awakened in the night with such a disturbing dream that I was compelled to pray for those being persecuted for their faith. At the late hour and fogginess by extreme tiredness, all I could do was pray, "Oh Lord, hide them from the enemy. Comfort your people. Protect them. Send your justice against the proud, wicked oppressor!" In the light of day, I realized that God does not always save His people from the destruction set against them. Sometimes, people are martyred. Sometimes they do endure extreme conditions, and it's heartbreaking. We don't always know His will but we can always pray and extend our faith, knowing that He hears our prayers and uses each one of them to accomplish His purposes. What I realized though, is that we ought to be praying more for wisdom, strategy and a powerful anointing to stand up against the tactics of wicked destroyers. Though God does not delight in the destruction of wicked people, and though He desires that no man perish but come to eternal life, we must realize that God's love is balanced with justice. There are some enemies that are so bent on evil that they pose a terrible threat to multitudes, and an enemy like that cannot be trusted, or tolerated. We strive to win as many as possible over with love as the Bible states, but there are those that don't want love and will never be won over by any amount of kindness. As we pray for God's love to draw those that are destined for salvation, we also pray for His judgment and justice upon those that will never repent for their wickedness. Only He knows who will come to Him and who will not, but our hearts must be free from prejudice and bitterness. God listens to the petitions of the innocent at heart. The spiritual warfare is increasing upon the earth and we must have ears to hear and a heart quick to obey when God speaks.

"Make me to know the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul." Ps. 143:8

Without obedience to the Word of God, we cannot receive His wisdom.

Without obedience, we won't receive strategies or understanding of the plots and schemes of the enemy.

Without obedience, we won't be let in on the secrets that God knows and desires to tell us.

Without obedience, we cannot be granted a powerful anointing that can stand up against the enemy's warfare.

"He trains my hands for battle, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze." Ps. 18:34

God always leaves the choice with us, yet, He sends messages to His people that they often discount. When He sends messages to try to get His people's attention and they do not respond, the messages grow louder, stronger, and they intensify. It is like the anguished cry of a parent trying to get the attention of their child before the child does something to destroy themselves through their own careless disregard. I pray that each person reading this will understand that is God's loving concern for us today. He is pleading with His people to run back to Him and commit to a life of obedience. The reality is, it will easier for some to relinquish their convictions when confronted by evil ultimatums and devilish warfare, than it is to stand up against an enemy. A life of compromise and weakened convictions prepares people to renounce their faith in order to survive in an evil world.

"Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven." Matthew 10:32,33

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels." Mark 8:38

"For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER? Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right." 1 Peter 4;17-18

Let me ask you, would you like to be let in on the enemy's secrets if he was plotting destruction at a place where your family might be affected? What if God wanted to warn you of a potential massacre at your child's school, or a terrorist plot where you or someone you love work - Would you want to know in advance? Of course you would. That is how crucial our obedience will become in this hour. That is why obedience is critical. (After I wrote this article, I randomly came across this you tube video of a prophetic word given just yesterday, August 18th, 2014. It mentions terrorist plots against 100,000 public schools.) Watch here:

Though I do not know who posted that video, I have a gut feeling it is accurate and from the Lord. We must all be on high alert and PRAY! I will say it again. Gone are the days of comfortable Christianity. Far too many have gone to church to be entertained, instead of to be trained. In the days ahead, nothing will be very comfortable, and the church needs training in spiritual warfare. There are different aspects of warfare training. Some involve listening, some come through impartation of anointing and gifts, some come by trials and demonic warfare. All are necessary components to being trained as a skilled warrior.

Lack of obedience closes our ears to God's voice as well as the ability to receive fresh revelation.

There are churches and other false authority structures that will collapse upon themselves. God is not into building a church inside a box. He is not about to stay within man's imposed limitations, and He doesn't get behind compromised teaching and give His approval. Those that teach false doctrine and formulate messages that appeal to itchy ears that only want the gospel message to sooth or entertain them will not be able to stand in the coming days. Grace without repentance or obedience is not the gospel. This is just one example. Forgive me if truth sounds harsh, but there are many who have been trying to hide the fact that they are operating under a different spirit. BUT, people will sense that they are not being adequately equipped, and they are going to fear that they are in serious need of more training, quickly. Those that cannot or will not prepare people with the teaching and training that they need in order to survive, will be removed and those houses will fall. You know that old saying your grandparents might have had, that they learned to swim when they got thrown into the deep end of the pool? Well, that is what we are facing right now in a lot of people's Christianity. They are going to sink or learn to swim but they are going to find themselves in over their head in the deep end of the pool. That's not even the bad news. The bad news is, they are taking swim lessons in snake infested waters. Some of those snakes are big, powerful, poisonous and have two heads. I've seen it as God has shown it to me. Friends, you are going to have to be alert and learn to dodge those snakes even as you are in deep water. You must be trained in righteousness, trained for good works, and trained in love so that you bear good fruit, but you also need to be trained for war. GOD trains His people for war through OBEDIENCE. Many people have been tested and tested for quite some time, but God has been preparing you for war. This is how we prove that He can trust us with authority, strategy, secrets and an increase in power.

The enemy roams about seeking whom he may devour. He goes to each door, looking for a way in. Each person has a responsibility to get the enemy out, and shut the door. This is one step we take to protect ourselves, our families and our future. If we do not listen to God now, if we refuse His instruction and wisdom when we've had a chance to make a change, should He feel obligated to hear us when we cry out when we're in trouble?

Taken from Proverbs 1:
Verse 23-33.

Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

If we turn back to God and listen for instruction, He will pour out His Spirit upon us and make his words known to us. This is a great promise that I encourage you to seek after. His words are truth, and they are life. They will sustain you in the days to come.
