Unraveling the lies of Islam

Many people make the mistake of thinking that God and Allah are one and the same. This is not true. It is not in the Bible, and the Bible is the doctrine that Christians follow. God has many names but Allah is not one of them. He has never, ever referred to himself by that name and He does not respond to that name.
We all need discernment to guide us into truth.

Before I get further into the article, let me present this question to anyone of a religious belief. "Do you have peace with your god, with yourself and others? Do you have a sense of knowing that your sins are atoned for and that your conscience is clean? Do you know with all certainty that your sins are wiped away and that you will enter heaven when you leave this earth? Do you have a sense of fulfillment and joy?

Jesus Christ is the answer to all of these questions, for those things are found in Him. Jesus is love. He wants a relationship with you!

Islam believes they are the one true religion and that one day all must submit to their god, Allah. This of course is a direct contradiction to the truth, for it is written in the Bible that "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth, and under the earth," according to Phil. 2:10. It is also written in Romans 14:11, a reference to Jesus' own words: It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'"

I realize that none of us can convict another person of our own convictions or beliefs because it is the work of the Holy Spirit to do so. Jesus said that when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will convict the world of sin and reveal the truth that makes people free, in John 8:32. But, here are some facts to consider.

We have to go back to the beginning in order to understand the difference between what Muslims believe and those of the Christian faith. All the way back to the book of Genesis. The whole root of this confusion and clash of religious beliefs stems from jealousy. There was and still is an ancient hatred that has been between the Jews and the Arabs, and it all comes down to ancestry. Isaac and Ishmael. The one who was chosen as the inheritor of the promise, and the one who was rejected. Abraham had pleaded with God to let the promise come through Ishmael, because at the time he could not bear to wait upon God any longer for the promise to be fulfilled. Abraham, or Abram, as he was called at the time, had gone to his slave woman Hagar and had a child with her. For many years, Ishmael was the only child he had, and he thought the promise would not come any other way. But God's original intent still held true. "Then God said, 'No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant and with his descendants after him." Gen. 37:19

Although the Bible clearly states that Isaac and his seed was chosen to inherit the promises of God, Muslims believe it was Ishmael. This is the first lie the enemy told them. They believe they are the rightful inheritors to the land and the promises that belonged to Abraham. Ishmael was said to be a 'wild man,' whose hand would always be at war and who lived among his brethren.

"The angel of the LORD said to her (Hagar) further,

         “Behold, you are with child,

         And you will bear a son;

And you shall call his name Ishmael,

Because the LORD has given heed to your affliction.

“He will be a wild donkey of a man,

His hand will be against everyone,

         And everyone’s hand will be against him;

And he will live to the east of all his brothers.” Genesis 16:11,12

Ishmael's descendants are the Arab peoples who populate most of the Middle East today. When Abraham's wife, Sarah, gave birth to the child of promise, Isaac, Sarah noticed their slave woman Hagar, scoffing her and her child. She knew that the child that came through the slave could not share in the inheritance with her son because he was the child of the 'free woman.' So Sarah had Abraham send Hagar and Ishmael away. This brought upon them both a sense of rejection and jealousy, and this is what the enemy has done to exploit the pain and shame of their descendants throughout history.

There is an ancient root of jealousy that produced hatred and war, and this has caused the difference in religious beliefs between those of the Muslim religion and Christianity. That anger and strife has remained as a generational curse in the Arab nations. Did Allah ever marry or have any sons? I am not a scholar of the Muslim faith but I do not believe so.The spirit of the anti-Christ works to create sons in an illegitimate way through the will and flesh of man, just the way Ishmael came into the world. Ishmael represents what man can do in his own strength rather than waiting and trusting God to fulfill His promise His way. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit. (Zech. 4:6) Ishmael came into the world as a son of Abraham, but through his slave woman, Hagar. Ishmael's descendants are also born into spiritual slavery and that spirit makes them slave to an ungodly slave master through deception and the teachings of the Muslim religion.

The Koran refers to Jesus Christ as the breath of God, the Word of God, the life of God and the Spirit of God. The Koran also references a virgin birth, a supernatural birth without human involvement. How can that occur unless it is from God? This is a direct fulfillment of prophecy about the Messiah. Isaiah 7:14 says, "Therefore the Lord  Himself will give you a sign, behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Immanuel means "God is with us." The angel was the messenger announcing that the birth of the virgin's child would indeed be God with humanity! Luke 1:26,27,30,31 also declare: "Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary...Then the angel said to her, 'Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus." The name Jesus means, 'God saves.' So it is through Jesus, whose name means "God is salvation," that we are saved. It is through His death to pay the penalty for our sins in our place, and through Him living within us, that God gives us salvation. The Meaning of "Christ".

Muslims also believe that Jesus returned to heaven after the cross and will one day come back again, and that His coming back will usher in the final judgment. I present this question for your consideration. How can one go to heaven and remain there all this time, with the expectation that He will come again to usher in the final judgment, and not see that He returned to heaven because that is where He originally came from? When Jesus returns, after being there all this time, will He not reveal the very glory of God? Jesus was not just a man and not just a prophet or teacher; the scriptures declare the Jesus is God. This refutes the second lie that Islam is led to believe. If Jesus was a regular man like any other 'prophet,' as Islam teaches, then how could he survive in heaven? How could a regular man obtain entrance into such a holy place UNLESS HE IS WITHOUT SIN AND ALSO GOD? How can one refer to the Spirit of God and not agree that one's Spirit is the essence of who they really are? John 4:24 in the Bible teaches that God is Spirit. His Spirit is also known as the Spirit of Truth. Any god that is worthy of being called 'god' must be able to prove he is all powerful, all knowing, and omnipotent. He must be unable to lie, Holy and without fault.

In John 8:32 - Jesus said, " and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." 33They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free '?"…

Jesus is eternal, meaning , He has always existed. "And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist." (Colossians 1:17)

God is all powerful: "And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power". 1 Corinthians 6:14

God is Creator: " It is he who made the earth by his power, who established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding stretched out the heavens." Jer. 10:12

God is omnipotent in power: "The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in His justice and great righteousness, He does not oppress." Job 37:23

"By the word of the Lord the heavens were made; their starry host by the breath of His mouth." Ps. 33:6

This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord,  the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who formed the world by Myself." Isaiah.44:24

God is omnipotent in salvation: "To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present  you before His glorious presence without fault and with great joy, to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord before all  ages, now and forevermore! Amen." Jude 24,25

"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12

"All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." Acts 10:43

I mean no disrespect but ANYONE believing in any god must ask the right questions, otherwise how can they truly know whether or not their faith is in the right thing? In regards to Allah, and his prophet Mohammed, "How can Allah and Mohammed claim to be free from sin when the doctrine they follow in the Koran involves the use of fear, torture, rape, murder and many other sins?" "Is this not the work of Satan and darkness?" If a person is a true disciple of Allah, then they cannot avoid the extreme views in the doctrine of that religion. I understand that the Koran also states that it is ok to deceive people in order to convert them or achieve their cause. How can anyone agree that lying in order to advance a cause could come from a holy source? If that 'god' is not holy, pure or righteous, why serve him? Some other questions to think about are, "Can Allah or Mohammed claim to be selfless and compassionate or offer any proof that they gave their life for their followers? Or is the religion based on works?" Jesus offers acceptance in Christ through His own blood, while other religions must earn favor with their gods and are left wondering if they have 'done enough' to please their god. In the end the question remains, "Does the god you profess possess the power to save you? If it does not, then why place your faith and pledge your loyalties to a god that cannot save you, or fulfill any of his promises?

If I understand correctly, according to the Koran, Islam demands their followers pay the penalty of death, inflict pain and suffering upon others, and take away all free will of others. No one is allowed to think for themselves or have a difference of opinion unless they are willing to suffer at the hands of those carrying out the will of their 'god'. Islam makes slaves, not free men. Can any father force his child to love him, or does love and trust have to be earned?Yahweh is not a slave master. He allows every person to choose for themselves whom they will serve and who they call Father of their faith. Look at what Islam produces: women in chains, men who are afraid to think for themselves, children as innocent victims in a war of insanity and deception. See for yourself what is taught in the Bible:

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be my son; but the fearful and the unbelieving and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers and sorcerers, and idolaters and all liars, shall have their part in the lake of fire that burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:7,8

"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment." Matthew 5:21

Here we see that to overcome does not mean by force, as that is never taught anywhere in the scriptures. God gives every person a free will to make their own choice whether or not to love Him and serve Him. Otherwise it would not be love. It is to overcome by practicing righteousness that Jesus taught. Jesus taught that the greatest commandment was to love God with all our heart, mind and strength and LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR AS OURSELVES. (Matthew 22:36-40).

God forgives our sin when we confess it to Him and ask Him for His mercy and forgiveness, and gratitude for having received His great grace is what prompts us to love Him and serve Him. The truth that Jesus Christ IS GOD is there even in the teachings of the Koran, but to the Muslims, it has been obscured by the lies of the enemy. The truth has been twisted.
The lie is based in rejection, just as Satan convinces anyone he lies to. He has told them that God is not their Father, that He has rejected them, and that they are not chosen. Though the Bible references the Old Testament scriptures to make a spiritual point, what was once true in ancient times is not necessarily true today. Abraham was a son of God through faith, and today, any of his children have the possibility of receiving the same promises that were given to Isaac and his seed - simply by receiving Yahweh as their God. It is that which comes by faith in Abraham's God, YHWH, or Yahweh. He is the Father of all those that accept the offer of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ. God desires sons and daughters so much that He gave the life of His own son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for the sins of mankind all throughout the ages. Through the sinless life of Christ, His death and resurrection, he made a way for all people of every race, culture and nationality to be grafted into God's family tree. The only thing they must do to receive this free gift is to believe the truth and desire to live in it.

That which was once wild, is grafted into the tree by FAITH. Because the roots are holy, so are the branches. The roots of the tree are in Christ Jesus. That is what makes the entire family tree holy. That is for every person, every race, every culture. If, by faith, you come to the truth and confess Jesus Christ is Lord, and want to be a part of God's family, then He will receive you. He has made a provision for Arabs, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, any any other religion to change their minds about what they believe and allow that change of heart to lead them into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Remember, the Koran makes reference to Jesus Christ by name as the Spirit of God and the Word of God, both of which agree with scripture in the Bible. So, for any Muslim to disagree with this truth and reject it, it means that they have traded in the truth for a lie and have become self deceived. Allah is NOT God. There can only be one true God. The other is a lie - formulated by the strength of the man that wrote the Koran. Mohammed may have had a visitation from an angel, but it was not an angel from heaven. Whatever  messenger he encountered was from hell, darkness and so twisted his message to deceive Mohammed. This is how the enemy has led Muslims straight to hell, not paradise, as they have been led to believe. "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love" (I John 4:8)

Any 'god' that forces people  to serve him or be placed under penalty of death is not a god that is confident people will chose him of their own free will. "Allah" is afraid for his followers to know the truth, that they have been lied to. He is afraid to allow them to freely choose whether or not they actually want to serve him, because he knows that many do not. This alone proves that Allah is not all powerful. Jesus Christ gives every man, woman or child the freedom to chose whom they will serve. He does not use fear, intimidation, death or torture to gain followers. He shows them love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness in hopes that people will realize He alone has offered his life for theirs, as atonement for their sins. How selfless! Can that be said of Allah or Muhammed, or any other god, for that matter? Has Allah or Muhammed ever raised anyone from the dead? Healed them? Set them free? No.

How then, can Allah make a claim to be God? He cannot. In order for Allah to be God, he must prove he has the power to atone for sin, forgive, heal, save and deliver. No man can atone for his own sin. If man could earn god's approval and acceptance on his own merit then he would not need a god at all. Allah is not holy, powerful or pure at heart. He has no power to forgive sin. Allah has made a false claim to be a god. But, Jesus has  proven His love, His power, and the reality of His kingdom from which He came. Not only is it written down in the Bible for our proof, but there are multitudes of eyewitness testimonies throughout history of people who have experienced the reality of Christ's power. They have seen His kingdom. They have visited hell, and they know the truth. They know the truth, and it has set them free. These are Jesus' witnesses.

Has any Muslim at any time ever gone to paradise and returned to testify of it? They cannot, because it is all a deception. It does not exist, except in the fabricated lies of Satan himself. On the other hand, there are many people of many races, religions and beliefs that have had personal encounters with the living God, Jesus Christ. they have visited heaven and come back to testify that it is real. There are too many eyewitness accounts that agree in their experiences that prove Jesus Christ is God and heaven is real. Let the lies be unraveled and the truth set the captives free.

Read a powerful testimony of a Muslim woman who converted to Christianity, died, and came back from the dead to tell about her experience in heaven.
